Anigozanthos - BUSH ELEGANCE - Kangaroo Paw 'Rambueleg' PBR
"Bush Elegance" of the Anigozanthos family, commonly referred to as Kangaroo Paw, showcases captivating deep red blooms with subtle pinkish-red tips. Native to Western Australia, this small shrub provides a romantic touch to gardens, with its flowers becoming the centrepiece of admiration. When aiming for a dramatic splash of colour or wanting to complement lighter tones in your garden palette, this cultivar stands tall with grace.
Incorporating organic compost into poor, sandy soils will greatly benefit "Bush Elegance" when planted in the ground. Sun-loving and needing consistent hydration, it thrives best with moderate watering, especially during warm periods. Boost its vibrancy by applying a controlled-release native plant fertiliser in Djilba (Late Winter to Early Spring). Prune it determinedly down to the ground in early Djeran (Autumn) to encourage rejuvenated growth. Once rooted and established, its hardiness shines through, enduring with little care.
